Physio-designed
Trigger-point release, at home
Firm massage balls that press exactly where your hands cannot reach. Thirty seconds on a tight spot and the muscle gives in. The same trigger-point technique sports physios use, for a fraction of what a single session costs.

Who it is for
Foam rollers skate over the knots. A firm ball goes into them. That is the difference between feeling looser for an hour and actually changing how a muscle sits.
Traps, upper back and the muscles either side of the spine that lock up after a day at a screen. Two minutes against a wall before dinner.
Calves, glutes, hip flexors and the sole of the foot. The bits a foam roller skates over and a physio charges to dig into.
Roll the lacrosse ball slowly under the arch for a minute each side. The first job of the morning for a lot of our runners.
Hold pressure on a tight spot for thirty seconds and the muscle lets go. The same technique used in sports massage, at home, whenever you need it.

How it works
Roll slowly over the area until you land on the point that makes you wince a little. That is the trigger point.
Stay on it for around thirty seconds. Breathe out slowly and let your weight sink in. The pressure fades as the muscle releases.
Shift a centimetre and repeat. Two minutes per area, once or twice a day. Consistency beats intensity.
Built properly
The Peanut cradles the spine and neck; the Lacrosse Ball goes deep into a single knot. Between them they cover the whole body.
Firm enough to reach tissue that soft balls and foam rollers never touch, without being hard on the bone.
It does not skid on a wooden floor or slide down a wall, so the pressure stays exactly where you found the knot.
Warm soapy water and a cloth. It does not absorb sweat, so it does not smell.

“The peanut looks good and is very tactile and most importantly it works. I have used it for occipital release - it is much easier than trying to make your own peanut and you can really feel it getting into the tight head areas and creating release and relaxation. It is also great for working on your thoracic spine. I get a lot of tightness here and used to try to release the area on a foam roller but it is far easier and more effective to use the peanut to do this. It is neat and portable, reasonably priced and good customer service support should you have any questions about further uses.”
“A brilliant piece of kit, I've had a tight calf for years and a foam roller has never seemed to do the job. This effectively pinches the muscle as you roll and it's worked wonders compared to the foam roller. I'd definitely recommend giving it a try!”
“Bought this specifically for upper back and neck area as I have almost constant issues there due to repetitive movement at work and general poor posture! It works brilliantly, much better than my massage roller which I paid a lot more for. Perfectly sized and easy to use and glides smoothly on the skin. Very happy with it.”
“This is my third product from this company and I can’t recommend it enough. They are all high quality, effective items sold for an affordable price. The peanut is especially great for targeting trigger points and I find that it made a total difference to my post-workout recovery.”
“Was off work with severe back pain, used this for 3 days, wont say it cured my back as I was taking pain killers, but will say it helped massively. Now back to work after 5 days. Recommend this product or similar.”
“Ideal size for taking to the gym or using at home. Great value.”

Questions
If your tightness lives in your back, neck or between the shoulder blades, start with the Peanut: the two balls sit either side of the spine so the pressure lands on muscle, never on the bone. If it is glutes, hips, calves or the soles of your feet, the single Lacrosse Ball gets deeper into one spot. Plenty of customers end up with both.
A foam roller spreads your weight over a wide surface, so it loosens a general area. A firm ball concentrates the same weight on one point, which is what actually releases a trigger point. Most people who own a roller still reach for a ball for glutes, feet and the mid-back.
Enough to feel a clear, slightly uncomfortable pressure on the tight spot, never sharp pain. Start with less of your body weight (against a wall rather than on the floor) and add weight over a few sessions as the area loosens.
Around thirty seconds, breathing slowly, then move a centimetre and repeat. Two minutes per area is plenty. Little and often beats one long session; most people notice a real difference within a fortnight of daily use.
It is firm on purpose, because softer balls collapse before they reach the tissue that needs work. Beginners should use the wall rather than the floor for the first week and keep sessions short. It gets more comfortable as the muscle releases.
Yes. Lie on your back with the Peanut at the base of the skull, so the balls sit either side of the spine, and let your head rest for a minute or two. Avoid pressing directly on the front or sides of the neck, and stop if anything feels sharp or tingly.
Keep the balls off bone, joints, the front of the neck and any area that is bruised, swollen, numb or recently injured. If you are pregnant, recovering from surgery, or being treated for a back or nerve problem, check with your GP or physio first. This is a comfort and mobility tool, not a treatment.
Warm soapy water and a cloth, then air dry. The surface is grippy but non-porous, so it does not hold sweat or smell.
